My American Landscape XXXI

Walla Walla, WA 2016
Continued wanderings through ‘wine-town’. Images in this post: When My Sister was in her final days of fighting liver cancer, I found solace at St Patrick’s Church. A lovely sanctuary away from the hustle and mortality of life. The cornices are adorned with berry bearing vines. The Mill Creek is channelized through the middle of town. The sounds of a brook amongst the business of people is like sweet background music. Mason work here in the Inland Pacific Northwest continues to be a highly valued skill. This mosaic work can be found in the men’s room of the Walla Walla County Courthouse.
